About PGANE
The Propane Gas Association of New England
The Propane Gas Association of New England is a regional alternative energy trade association representing members of the propane industry in the six New England States. We exist to serve the propane industry by promoting safety, education, and public awareness of the uses and environmental and health benefits of propane. Our core activities include educating, informing, lobbying, and influencing a variety of stakeholders about the benefits of propane, expanding propane markets and uses, promoting compliance with standards and good business practices among our member companies, and facilitating knowledge transfer, thought leadership, and innovation through networking.
Our membership includes the nation’s largest propane companies and numerous small companies that are often family-owned and operated, many for several generations. Regular communication with our membership, ongoing educational offerings, and advocacy in the six-state capitals for business-friendly legislation which continues to promote clean energy and public and employee safety are some of our regular activities. We meet several times each year and are run by a board of directors consisting of twenty-five members. Our small staff of four full-time associates work diligently to provide value to our members and the general public. We often field questions and direct members and consumers to the appropriate sources for help if we cannot help them ourselves. We are here to be your resource for everything propane! Give us a call.
