In-Person NH Continuing Education Code Classes
Note: Each student is required to have a copy of the 2018 edition of the NFPA 54 codebook in front of them and must present it along with their NH Gasfitter License before the class. No exceptions!
This class consists of both 2023 and 2024 code for a total of six hours of class time beginning at 8:30 am. Cost is $100.00.
The following in-person courses are located at F.W. Webb in Concord, NH.

CETP 1.0: Basic Principles and Practices of Propane
-
CETP Basic Principles and Practices of Propane provides an introduction to propane’s physical and combustion properties, explains how propane is produced and transported and provides an overview of propane systems. Basic Principles and Practices of Propane is a pre-requisite for all other CETP courses.

CETP 2.2 & 2.4: Bobtail and Cylinder Delivery

This course provides information for drivers who operate commercial motor vehicles to deliver propane. It provides practices and procedures that support many general delivery tasks, and is designed to train employees who operate a bobtail or cylinder delivery truck.

CETP 4.1: Designing & Installing Exterior Vapor Systems
-
This class focuses on the design and installation of the exterior portions of a vapor distribution system for both residential and small commercial markets. This course addresses how to select and install containers, prevent corrosion, size and install regulators and meters, and select and install outdoor piping and tubing.

CETP 4.2: Placing Vapor Distribution Systems & Appliances into Operation

This course addresses the different system tests and checks required when installing new piping, regulators and appliances or restoring service to an existing vapor distribution; validating the container, piping, and regulator; how and when to make the final connections; how to purge the system of air, appliance controls and safety devices and how to adjust the burner.

CETP 4.3: Installing Appliances & Interior Vapor Distribution Systems w/ the Natural Gas Supplement

This course is designed to train installation and service personnel on the interior of a piping system as well as the installation of gas appliances. The course addresses selecting and installing appliances, how to design and install interior venting systems, and designing and installing interior piping and tubing.

CETP 4.4: Basic Electricity for Propane Appliance Service

This course enables participants to interpret electrical components and diagrams, and measure electrical quantities. Basic Electricity for Propane Appliance Service is an essential tool for propane technicians.

CETP 4.5: Basic Propane Appliance Service & Troubleshooting

This course focuses primarily on safely and efficiently servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing basic propane appliances. This course will instruct you on the specific steps in these important tasks. This class is very hands-on and utilizes our new training boards!

CETP 4.6: Advanced Propane Appliance Service & Troubleshooting

This course enables participants to efficiently service, troubleshoot, and repair advanced propane appliances with electronic ignition systems. It is an essential tool for propane technicians. This class is very hands-on and utilizes our new training boards!
